Personal Statement
My name is Esra Dukic-Wolfensson and I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. I have been playing for Austrias National team since the age of 13 and I also played in Spain, Barcelona but had to return to Austria because of the COVID - regulations. Since I was a kid I knew I wanted to play basketball on a collegiate level. My dream is to play D1 as I know I have the skillset and the abilities to compete there. I am Austrias best player in my age group as this is what coaches have been telling me all my life and I am in my last year of finishing the IB diploma, which is recognized in colleges in the U.S. I am a all-around scorer, as I can hit shots from everywhere on the court and I have really good penetration. I am amazing at recognizing when my teammates are open and providing them for the open shot. I am also a very dedicated defender on-ball as well as off-ball and I am in hopes of a D1 college picking me up, so I can show my true value as a player.
