Matias Alkemade Castanheira Nunes '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matias Alkemade, I am in the class of 2024. I currently play at my high school where we compete against other international schools here in the Netherlands as well as abroad. I am a hardworking athlete that is easily coachable and is looking forward to putting in hard work to improve. During the off-season I have continued to train before and after school to continue to improve. Off the court, I spend time in the gym making sure my body is physically prepared to play. On and off the court I try my best to advocate for myself and my teammates and do not hesitate to help out a teammate when I see a chance to help them. As an international player, I am excited and eager to have a chance to play abroad as well as experience the different culture. I am motivated to grow and learn as an individual and as a team.
