Personal Statement
Dear Coach,
I am Bryan Ziki, a 17-year-old shooting guard from Harare, Zimbabwe. I am writing to express my interest in playing basketball at your college.
I have been playing basketball for 6 years and I am currently a starter on the Rams 1st team , one of the top teams in the country. I average 10 points and 6 assists per game. I am also a team captain and a leader on and off the court.
I am a hard-working and dedicated player who always strives to improve my skills and help my team win. I have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for the game. I am also a good student who maintains a 3.8 GPA and takes challenging courses.
I believe that I have the potential and the desire to play basketball at the college level and contribute to your program. I would love to learn more about your team, your coaching philosophy, and your recruiting process.
