Nicholas "Nick" Burrell '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicholas Burrell, and I am entering my senior season at Ankeny High School in Ankeny, IA. I am very interested in playing shooting guard and 3 in college. This year I hope to lead my high school team to state. I got invited to the 2009 Club USA National Basketball Championship Tournament in Hawaii. I was also invited to Future 150 camp. This summer I played with the Iowa Mavericks in the 17u division. I was very successful at that level averaging almost 20pts per game and shooting over 40% from the 3 point line. I also shot over 60% from the field and shot 83% from the FT line. In my high school I maintain a 3.014 GPA. I have played basketball since elementary school. I LOVE to win and play to win every time. I am very excited for the upcoming high school season and hope to be very successful. I also love training for basketball and watching myself grow into an elite player. I always train by the quote "results are not guaranteed: they are earned!" As previously stated, I am currently playing for the Iowa Mavericks 17u team. In addition to that I have taken personalized lessons from an All Iowa Attack coach named Julian Seay. I also attended a Five Star Camp at Lewis University . I think I can contribute at the college level with my shooting and athletic ability. I have a very good work ethic and always look to improve on my game. I am a very good team player and know that the team is the most important thing.
