Dear Coach,
First, I would like to thank you for visiting my profile. For you to take your time to do this means the world to me.
I am a junior at Carlisle High School and played varsity basketball freshman year, while starting sophomore and junior year. I still remember in 4th grade when I decided I would play varsity basketball as a freshman, and everyone laughed. I worked as hard as I could over the next five years to make that dream turn into a reality. Now that I have accomplished that goal, I have to go further. I will be playing collegiate basketball (God willing) and will do everything in my power to do so.
I received an All-Conference Honorable Mention sophomore and junior season and plan on doing even more in the years to come, including being named First-Team All-Conference and State, and winning a conference championship while making it to the state tournament. We improved and came close to this goal this last season, getting second in the conference after finishing dead last the year before while finishing with the most wins in school history. I firmly believe we will make it happen next season.
Academically, I will have more than enough credits to graduate after Junior year since I attended two schools in middle school/freshman year. I hope to major in Political Science or History. I earned a composite score of 28 on the ACT the first time I took it in the fall of my sophomore year, and I will be retaking it later. Academics are the most important part of high school and I continually do everything necessary to be the best student I can be.
