Matthew Watters '23 Recruiting Profile

I love to play basketball and work on my game as much as possible. I play as if every game is my last giving every ounce of energy I have to winning. I want to compete, win, and be the best at the highest level I possibly can. I am always looking to get better myself in every aspect of the game. Winning is always my biggest priority at every level I have played at and will continue to be my biggest priority as long as I play. I will do whatever it takes to win, whether it's playing defense and rebounding or scoring. I will do whatever is asked of me by the coach. I always demand excellence from myself on the floor and in the classroom where I keep a 4.0 GPA while taking honors classes. I am very coachable and welcome feedback/criticism, knowing it's going to make better. The idea of playing collegiate basketball excites and I can't wait for that day to come.
