2020 Jacob Schock...Personal Statement
I love basketball - it's my life and my passion. I have played with the Iowa Barnstormers AAU club for 4 years and the experience has been incredible. Not only have I gotten to play basketball with some unbelievably talented kids but I've also been able to travel all around the country seeing new places and meeting people. It's amazing. I've also been very blessed to play for some amazing coaches like Sam Elgin and Greg Stephen.
I attend Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, IA. I take my education and faith life as seriously as I take athletics. I feel very lucky and very blessed to be able to attend such an amazing high school.
I have a 3.4 gpa and am working to improve that each and every day. When I'm not in school I'm working on my athletic ability at Building Better Athletes in Dubuque, IA and my trainer is Mike Zwieffel. I also work out with instructors at Gold Standard Basketball in Dubuque.
I am driven, every single day, to be the best. I'm committed to working hard every day to maximize the talents and ability God gave me.
