Owen Vansickel '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Owen Vansickel, and I have always wanted to pursue athletics at the college level. My first passion is basketball. I would say my most valuable skills offensively are assists, shooting, and my free throw percentage. Defensively, I am quick and don't back down from getting rebounds and intercepting passes. I am a leader on my team and communicate with my teammates and coaches as much as possible. In addition to my basketball passion, I recently discovered a talent and passion for kicking in football. I am proud of myself for taking on a new challenge by joining my high school football team without any prior experience. I think one of my most valuable attributes in both sports is that I am coachable. I take feedback and direction well, to do what is best for the team. In addition, I put forth effort in the classroom and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
