Jack Vermeer '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jack Vermeer, and I am a junior at Pella Christian High School. The strongest part of my game right now is definitely on the defensive end. I had the opportunity to guard the toughest guy night in and night out, and I am a solid lockdown defender, that plays great help defense as well. I am not afraid to step in and take a charge either. On both sides of the floor, I show great leadership and do whatever I can to get a win night in and night out. Offensively, I can see the floor very well and make great passes and have a high I.Q when it comes to making decisions. I am good at penetrating to the basket, and deciding whether to kick or finish. My shot from midrange and 3 point range is good as well, but that is something I plan on improving. Academically, I get my schoolwork completed on time, and I do my best to achieve my academic goals every day. I am on the honor roll at a very tough and strict high school, and I take honor in that.
