Johny Amina '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Johny Amina and I attend North Cedar High school in Iowa. I'm a Junior in high school with a 3.5 GPA. I play Basketball, playing a Small Forward/ Power Forward on the court, while I also participate in track, I do high jump with a personal best of 6'6" and run the hurdles. I received second team all conference my junior year of basketball and I've made it to state in the high jump my freshman and Sophomore year. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and trying new things. If I'm not working on basketball, I'm working out with friends or playing golf in my spare time. 

I was selected to attend Iowa HOBY the summer of my sophomore year, which was a camp that schools in Iowa send an elected student with great leadership skills to grow and bring back leadership knowledge to their schools. My personal experience was great and i feel like it helped my when school started back up, (I was elected student section MVP).
