I really can't remember a day without basketball. I play basketball, watch basketball, read about basketball and talk about basketball. During my freshman and sophomore season I played for a small high school in Kansas where I started every game at point guard. My sophomore team was one of eight teams to advance to the KSHSAA State Class 1A Playoffs. In November of 2015 I transferred to Life Preparatory Academy in Wichita Kansas and reclassified as sophomore. There were several reasons I made this decisions. First, I wanted a chance to mature physically. I am now 6’3” and about 170 lb. and I’m still growing and filling out. Second, I wanted to practice and play against the best completion possible so that I could develop and refine my game. Third, I wanted to learn to manage my time between basketball practice, basketball travel and my school responsibilities. Last of all I wanted to take dual credit college classes so that I would have a number of my freshman classes out of the way making my transition to college easier. This experience has pushed me and helped me grow as a person and helped me to focus my own efforts on becoming a versatile guard capable of playing at the college level. I am learning the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to play on a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an impact. I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on a team.
