Jackson Stoppel '20 Recruiting Profile

     My college goals and aspirations quite simply include obtaining an education that will allow me to be a successful adult, in a field I am interested in.  I am interested in majoring in enginnering/science.  Furthermore, I love the game of basketball!  I have enjoyed playing basketball for many years now, I love it so much I do not want it to end after high school. I would love nothing more than to find a school where I could continue to grow as a basketball player while obtaining my college education.  I am very passionate about the sport and spend a great deal of time playing basketball in the off season.  

The highlight of my high school basketball career thus far was having the opportunity to be part of a Kansas State runner-up team my sophomore year. But I feel that I grew more as a player and as a leader my junior year.  Coming off a year where 10 seniors graduated and with very little varsity experience, I was forced into many uncomfortable situations that not only helped me on the court, but helped me develop leadership and accountability for myself and my teammates.  Essentially adversity has sparked learning and growth.   

I am the type of person who is willing to put in time and work in order to better myself on and off of the court.
