I've been playing basketball since I was about 4 years old. That is when my love for the game began. I continue to have a passion for basketball, and have always wanted to play at the collegiate and professional level.
I feel I would be a great asset to a team for many reasons. I am strong with the ball, a very good driver, can finish around the rim and have a high basketball IQ. Also, I am very coachable and have great work ethic, if there is an open gym 99.9% of the time I am there. I am constantly working on my game. Whether it's my jump, ball-handling or strength/conditioning. In addition, I am a leader for my peers as well as the younger kids; leading by example and having great body language on and off the court. I am involved in StuCo (Student Council), HALO (Hispanic American Leadership Organization), Marching Band and I am part of our church's youth group, all while maintaining a high GPA.
My goal is to attend a college that will push me to be the best version of myself, on and off the court. I am open to all options, and hope to get the chance to continue to challenge myself on the court as well as academically.
