Coaches often overlook undersized players like myself but I've always been taught to "never underestimate the heart of a man" . At 5''11 and weighing 165 lbs, I may be a David in size but I play like Goliath; I fear no man. I am a tenacious defender and can create opportunities for myself and others. I have solid handles, shoot the ball well and have good court vision. I am a selfish player because I like to win but I also enjoy being a part of a team that challenges and pushes each other to be better. Basketball has been my passion ever since I could walk and I continue to hone my craft daily, whether it be working in my driveway, shooting at the YMCA at 4:30 AM before everyone wakes up, or strength training on our makeshift Vertimax machine that my dad built. I come from a family of basketball players; my dad played at Wichita State University, my older brother currently plays for Grinnell College in Iowa and my sister plays for Nicholls State University. Basketball is our connection and we use it to make each other better. As much as I love basketball, I know that without the academics, all this means nothing so I devote time to my schooling as well. Currently, I hold a 3.4 weighted GPA and a 24 ACT, which I plan to retake again this summer. My NCAA # is 1807232531.
