My name is Chance Scott and I'm a freshman attending Kansas City Community College. I played basketball proudly for Wichita South High School on the varsity program. I am 6"9, I can shoot the ball from any range with a soft touch, I can put the ball on the floor and can handle it, I can score with my back to the basket or face my defender up and go to the rim. I am not a typical 4/5 because I have a great outside shot from anywhere, so it causes the bigs to have to come outside to guard me leaving the paint wide open for penetration.
This year I was injured the second week of practice and broke my hand. I decided to red shirt. During this time I rehabilitated and was cleared to practice in January. Due to unforeseen circumstances late January, seven players were dismissed from the team and I decided it was best for the team/school for me to burn my red shirt and play the last eight games with six guys total on the roster. After the season was complete I was told that I would not be offered a scholarship for my sophomore year. So I am actively seeking to transfer and find a new school that I can contribute to on and off the court. I am open to workouts and visits. Feel free to email or call me to discuss my season and any opportunities.
