Dasean Penn '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dasean Penn, I am a 6'4 Small forward from Pike County Central High school. I was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Turks and Caicos Islands until my junior year when I moved to America. 

My strengths are my mid-range shooting, attacking the rim and rebounding.

I became interested and fell in love with the game of basketball during my sixth grade year, it honestly changed my life. Over the years of playing I've learned that I am a very dedicated and determined person who will work religiously to perfect his craft. It has also always been a dream of mine to play at the college level.

My goals going into senior year are to become a better student athlete then I was last year, have a great season, lead my team and graduate with a 4.0 GPA. 

My goals for college are to develop by learning from my coach, contribute to my team by doing whatever it takes to win and graduate college with a degree.

I’m looking for a preferably large institution, although will absolutely consider smaller institutions where I can find the right balance of education and basketball. I would like to pursue a college with an outstanding reputation in the fields of biology and business. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could develop and learn from my coach and make a impact on my team.
