To use the term "BALL IS LIFE" would be an understatement. Hi my name is Glennshawn Devin Amos I'm a 18 year old Senior at Chalmette High School in Chalmette Louisiana just outside of New Orleans. I am a 6 feet 1 inch 160 lbs starting point guard with a 3.0 GPA and ACT score of an 22. For the past 11 years its been all about basketball for me. I started playing recreational basketball in Chalmette after our return home after Hurricane Katrina at the age of six. Since then I have played on recreational, AAU , Middle school and High school teams. Over time I went from being the little short kid that the coaches weren't to sure about to being a leader, the starting point guard at my high school, with great ball handling skills , solid defense and earning awards for leading scorer and best defensive player. I participated in the 2015 AAU championship in Florida leading my team, The St. Bernard Spartans to a second place finish. My goal is to continue on this path which is also a dream for me with my basketball in hand and my eyes on the ultimate prize of one day playing in The NBA and also picking up on a degree in Business on my way. My goals are set. I am currently training and working hard as possible to get the opportunity. I would call it a blessing to go to college and become one step closer to that ultimate goal.
