Marcellus Crear '20 Recruiting Profile

When I played Varsity basketball my Freshman year, I didn’t get much playing time. The year after that, my Sophmore year, with 4 Seniors leaving, I was called upon to fill a major role, while finally getting my chance to be a starter for our team. I received the Most Improved Award and also I was an All-District Honorable Mention, which was the highlight of my year. Experiencing the pressure of a high school game helped me grow as a person and helped me become a leader for my team coming into the following season.

 I’m looking for a program that benefits me academically, as well as athletically. I believe I have the talent to play at the collegiate level, because of my work ethic, leadership, and the ability to make an impact on your program. I am willing to learn what it takes to becoming a college athlete, while also being apart of your great program.
