Darius Clayton '16 Recruiting Profile

First of all, I am 17years old and I will graduate at age 17.  I will more than likely continue to grow after high school.  I have tremendous range beyond the 3 point line.  Sometimes my high school coach gets on me because he says I'm to deep but I'm comfortable out there but I come closer and give them the respect. I'm a very unselfish player, I truly understand the concept of team first.  I truly believe in playing both sides of the court, defense and offense.  I work hard and give my all on the court, whether we are winning or losing.  I believe in finishing the game no matter the result.  I know in some peoples eyesight,  I am under size, but I would be shocked if you can find anyone who works as hard as I do and will give the effort and hustle I will give. My Junior year I had to step in and play power forward for my high school team and I feel I played well, I average 8 rebounds a game at my size.  I was selected to the 2014-2015 District 4-1A 2nd Team all-defense and I was selected to the 2015-2016 District 4-1A 1st Team all-Defense.  I plan on majoring in Business Management and Administration.  My Father is a pastor and he is also a Supervisor within the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  My Mom is a scanning coordinator and she is also a cosmetologist.  I have two older sister, my oldest sister works as a nurse in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the other is a sophomore at McNeese State University majoring in Radiology and Health Care Administration.  I have never been in any kind of trouble.  I am solid in my books, but I know with a little more effort I can do better.  All I asked is for you to give me a chance to prove myself as a student athlete at your school.  Thanks!
