Shay Rawlings '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shaffers (Shay) Rawlings, Class of 2025. I'm from a small town in Maryland. I currently play for Shabach Christian Academy. I am 6’4”, 185 pounds, and play the 2 and the 3 position, and sometimes the 4.

I am able to play both sides of the ball and can guard 2-4. In addition to having the ability to play multiple positions, I am a team player. As a player, I work hard. What I may lack, I more than make up for it with a high basketball IQ, hard work, and being coachable. I am interested in playing basketball while attending college to study Exercise Science or Kinesiology.

 My current grade point average is 3.,2 and I’m taking classes as a dual-enrolled student at a Community College. I feel like I will be an asset to a team that works as unit.
