Gabe Meriwether '17 Recruiting Profile

I believe I am a leader on and off the court. My teammates are like family to me and the team always comes before the individual. I believe I show an example to my teammates which drives them to work harder. My parents always taught me that school was the main priority and grades came first. Once that was done I could do my work on the court. Hard work in the classroom transfers to the gym, the mental aspect helps so much. My game continues to grow as I grow older. My scoring and defensive presence on the court continues to increase, however I also believe I control and balance who has the ball at times. Passing is a key in the game of basketball. My collegiate goals include going to a Division 1 school or a school that will set my academic needs and gives me a bright future with life and the game of basketball.
