Dyoni Edwards '24 Recruiting Profile

I could barely walk and holding a basketball brought me a type of joy, that my parents knew that one day I would be here wanting to play basketball at every level possible. I'm a very hard worker; I look at myself as a defensive player that understands that in order to be successful on the floor having a relationship with my coach is key. I'm a player that does not need the spotlight but instead a player that thrives on assisting my teammates on the floor. I have played at an AAU level since 4th grade, which has taught me so much about the game, along with the type of player I want to be.  I have a very close-knit family that motivates me to go after my love for the game, while keeping education first. The opportunity to play at a collegiate level while obtaining a college degree is a dream come true. The only thing in life I want to do is play basketball.
