Personal Statement

I want to achieve a well rounded education that will guide me into the career that I want so that I can be financially stable and play basketball, the game that I love so much.  I want to be in a position to give back to my local community.  I want other youths to experience of playing on an organized basketball team and participate events and tournaments.  My desire is to help students who struggle with their grades as I have and provide the kind of help that I received in order to improve my grades.  I have always been a good role model on and off the court and always putting my best effort for my team, my coach and my school.  My dad has always taught me to be a leader, not a follower.  These qualities is what I possess that will make me a good candidate for a college team.  I am different from other recruits because I work very hard.   On the basketball court, I can go into attack mode and I am very fast on the floor.  I always find a way in to the basket.  I surround myself with positive people and respect my elders and teachers.  I work hard on my academics and am proud to have the support of my parents, family members and the Clintondale staff who oversee and guide me in the right direction when I am having difficulty in any subject matter.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
