I am looking to continue to play basketball at a collegiate level; I have played basketball since a very young age and have been in Travel/Competitive basketball since 4th grade. My primary Point position has provided me with strong ball-handling skills, high basketball IQ and court awareness. My coaches recognize me as a play maker and appreciate that I make the right pass, shot selection and game decisions that supports team play and wins. I have held captain roles in the past, but despite the titles, I always try to be a leader on and off the court.
In addition to competitive basketball I have been playing Travel/Competitive soccer since 2nd grade. My primary position is right back and in general, back line defender and I have applied the same principles and values to the game and on the soccer field as I do for basketball. With the dual schedules I have had to continuously strive for school/sports/family balance and it has made me effective at time management and has given me dedicated work ethics.
Outside of sports I strive to maintain a high GPA and I am active within and outside of high school by participating and volunteering for community events and youth camp coaching opportunities.
I am excited to continue my passion for basketball and hopefully can find a college that will support my goals to study Business and Finance along with playing a high level of basketball competition.
