My name is Ryan Mann. I am looking for an opportunity to play college basketball. I started playing basketball my freshmen year of high school, where I played on the JV team for two years. My goal between my sophomore and junior year was to earn a spot on the starting lineup for the varstiy team. I worked for a year with an individual coach to improve my basketball skills. Through my hard work and dedication, I became a starter on the varstiy team. Along with that my teammates noticed my hard work, leadership, and drive to get better and I was named a varsity captain as a junior. Unfourtantly, two minutes in the first game of the season I tore my ACL, and missed the remainder of my junior season. I worked very hard to come back stronger and better than ever, and was once again named a Varstiy captain my senior year. Due to Covid-19 and the recovery time of my ACL, I know that I have not reached my full poteintal as a basketball player. My goal this senior season is to continue developing as a basketball player, and to look for a school that is a good fit both acedemically and athletically so I can continue my career as a basketball player. I am a diehard basketball fan, a natural leader, and have a passion for the game and play with heart. I would love the oppertunity to speak with a coach that has a track record of developing players that have not yet reached their full poteintal.
