I love the game of basketball! I have been blessed to grow up in an home that has provided me with many basketball opportunities. Because of this, I have become a student of the game and have developed a high basketball IQ. On the offensive end of the court, my strengths include court vision, dribble penetration, scoring, and getting out in transition. I take pride in going all out on defense and surprising people with my ability to rebound.
I also enjoy watching and analyzing basketball, especially at the college level. My dad - a high school varsity basketball coach - and I watch all of my games after I play to see how my team and I can improve. Probably, the most important thing to me is being a man of character. Doing things like always giving 100 percent, being a good teammate, and being coachable have become part of who I strive to be.
My love for the game began when I started playing basketball at four years old. Along with playing, I started coaching and refereeing elementary basketball when I was in 7th grade, which developed a desire to be a college basketball coach one day. During my summers, I help coach several weeks of basketball camp and run a basketball skills training business with my dad.
I want to go to a college with a strong basketball program that will keep pushing me to get better every day. I also want to be under a great coaching staff that will prepare me to be a college basketball coach after I finish playing.
