James Thomas '24 Recruiting Profile

I feel what makes me a good candidate for any team is that I am coach-able. I am willing to learn and take criticism from the teammates, and coaches around me. I apply the criticism into my game to help not just myself, but the rest of the team. What makes me different from other athletes/ recruits is my mindset in tight situations. When it comes to making a quick decision I feel like I am in a good place, but I also feel as if the work is never done. Something can always be better, and when I reach that goal of being better than I was, I always want to keep going. Academically I feel the same way. I always feel the work is never done, putting in the extra time to study, and spending time to even work on and off the court. I can always be better through hard work, dedication, and I will continue to strive until the work is done.
