Personal Statement

I am a senior combo guard with great athleticism and work ethic. I believe I am one of the hardest workers in the Three Rivers Conference, and I have worked immensely this offseason to improve my game. I was named a ScoutsFocus All-American, and I attended the 3-day showcase in Charlottesville, VA this summer. I also played in the Minnesota Top 100 Expo in July, along with a few team tournaments in mid-July. In the Fall I played to the Minnesota Heat AAU program, where I improved my game speed and experience.

I averaged 18 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this season, while leading my team to an 11-16 record.

I plan to contribute to a college program next year and help my team win as much as possible. My positive attitude, motivation, and work ethic can positively affect those around me at the next level. These traits will benefit our team's performance on and off the court. I am a valuable asset to any team/program at the next level and cannot wait to contribute to great success as I strive for my own successes and improvement this year.

2013 SCOUTSFOCUS EVALUATION

"Nick Powell, a 6'3.5 2014 190lb prospect of Fillmore Central High School (MN), is a solid player who can score well and has range on his shot. He rebounds the ball well for a guard. We would like to see him get physically stronger to further develop his game."
