Cole Chapman '20 Recruiting Profile

I love that I get to introduce myself to you.  I am Cole Chapman and I love to track and investigate sports anomalies.  My goals, though they may change as I am only in 8th grade, would be to leverage my interests in English and Language Arts to become a Sports Journalist.  One of my favorite things to do when I am watching a Basketball or Football game is to follow what the game announcers are analyzing and discussing throughout the course of the game.  

My love of rebounding and dominating the offensive and defensive glass during a basketball game goes to core of my character.  It is a statement of my team oriented posture and it reflects my unselfish desires to do whatever it takes to assist my teammates and my team to be successful.  I am young and still figuring a lot of things out in terms of how to be a superior student-athlete and I am anxious to move forward and pursue my goal of being one of the few basketball players to play Junior Varsity/Varsity basketball in Ninth Grade.  I love the Mahtomedi community and can not wait to become a Mahtomedi High School student, athlete, and mentor to those following my path.  I have great hopes that myself and my Mahtomedi peers will be able to earn a State 4A Basketball Championship.  I know this, in itself, would not make me a champion as there is a lot more to it than just that but I would love to see and hear the reaction of the Mahtomedi Basketball faithful, especially my Dad.  That would be amazing in it's own right.
