I'm a 3-level scoring PG (Combo Guard) with strong ball-handling, passing & scoring skills. I have explosive speed - and the ability to change up the pace to make plays. I'm a solid team player, a leader and a playmaker. I enjoy the teamwork aspect of the game, battling together on the court.
My sophomore season I played varsity & JV on my high school team during the 2022-2023 season.
During the summer of 2023 I played AAU at the 17U level for Twin Cities Elite & E1T1 and 16U for E1T1. I was named Top Performer and made the All-Tournament Team 16U 3rd Team at PrepHoops Twin Cities Takedown tournament.
"Tyler Thompson (G- E1T1 16U KK) is a tough guard that can really get his offense going and a solid defender, he finishes left and right, shooting 40% from 3 this summer and really showing he is a next level player. Only a Junior, this student athlete will only get better. Thompson scored 58 pts in two games (34 vs Mn Chill Elite and 24 vs 3ND).....big time scorer and defender - tough kid for Roseville, excited about his future for sure a college player." -- Coach Terrance Waits (VP of E1T1 Basketball and writer for HoopsStars Media)
