My name is Shadeed Myers and I became interested in basketball when I was 9 years old. Basketball has taught me to be a leader. Also, unless you are willing to work hard, wins don’t come easy. Over the years, the obstacle that I have had to overcome was being too hard on myself, when I made a mistake. I like things to look and be perfect. I had to realized that if I fall short of perfection don't be so hard on myself. My goal is to go to college to pursue a degree in Psychology and Social work. I really want to help people and I would like to be able to live comfortably in my adult life. Academically, when I put my mind to something, I comprehend and pick up on new things well. Math is also a great academic skill I have.
I am a good candidate for a team because I am willing to do anything to make my teammates happy. I don't mind not being the number one scorer, as long as I am helping the team all around. I am known for handling the ball well under pressure and for being a great ball distributer. In sports, I'm a really a good vibe to be around. I am always willing to listen to my teammates, share my thoughts, and my feedback.
