I am a winner and have a very high basketball IQ. I am an unselfish player who just wants to win every night out. Personal stats do not matter. It's all about the team. I am a leader both on and off the court.
I transfered schools my tenth grade year to learn more about the game of basketball from one of the best coaches in the area, Coach Marc Dukes. He was a head coach in many Juco colleges in the area and an assistant under Rod Barnes at University of Mississippi. Since the move, Coach Dukes and I have lead our teams to three straight DII State championships. In the 2015 season, we also lead our team to the Final Four for MAIS in the state of MS. I have played in a college style system and understand reading picks, setting picks, defensive help, and seeing the floor. This has prepared me for the this next step in my career.
Academics was another major reason for my transfer. Magnolia Heights offers many college credit classes and has implemented the use of Mac books to advance my academic learning in a college type environment.
I was chosen preseason 2015 and 2016 as one of the Top 15 Players to Watch in MAIS for the state of Mississippi. I have just been selected to play in the MAIS All Star basketball game on March 5, 2016.
I aspire to play for a college team that fits my style of play of getting up and down the court. My college goals are to play at the highest level that my abilities fit and use my talents, along with my teammates, to compete for a championship every year.
