My goal is to play Division 1 basketball, and then continue on in Basketball to get paid to play-and more importantly be a good role model for younger kids to look up too, and being a witness for Christ. It is hard for me to get recruited to a high level school because I am from small town Montana, but that does not mean that I am not capable of being a force at the D1 level. I would be willing to be a preferred walk-on (obviously a scholarship position would be even better)--just to have a chance to prove what I can do. I pride myself in being better when I walk off the court after a workout. I love the game of basketball, but I am also a follower of Chirst. As a Christian athlete I will out work, out fight, and out love anyone on the team.
As a player, I pride myself in being able to get my shot off whenever I need to because of my God-given athletic ability and work ethic that has caused me to spend thousand of hours in the gym working on a quick yet high release jump shot. I can shoot the three--contested or uncontested, or drive by my defender for a dunk, and then pull up for my favorite shot--the 15 footer--next time down. My threat as an offensive player creates open shots and number advantages for my teammates, as defenses tend to collapse on me. I can act as a point guard as well, and love playing under pressure. When I buckle down and focus on defense, I can outmatch my opponent with my athletic ability everytime.
Athletically, I am the two-time defending county-wide dunk champion (against schools that are 15 times my school's size). I train at Parisi Speead School to increase my strength and overall athletic ability. I run a 4.9s 40, and have a 36" running vertical, 34" standing (I can dunk off one or two feet).
