Shaquille Esparza '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shaquille Esparza I'm a 6'5, 180lbs  guard from Bellevue Nebraska. I'm a part of the 2011 class and currently a red shirt freshman at Bellevue University, but I plan to transfer to a JUCO college. I feel it will be a better fit for a player like me. I live at home with my mother and my three siblings but due to some family issues my mom is a foster parent for three other children. We struggle financially and its hard but we manage to make it work. I want to attend a junior college to develop my skills further and see where it can take me, what I can offer to a team is more height and a good ball handler, I penetrate well and I shoot freethrows pretty well and can finish at and abover the rim. I'm very long and athletic and I have great foot work so that helps me out a lot on defense, My weakness would be shooting the 3 I have got much better but I can still use more work. My goal is to come to a team and just work hard and get better everyday, whatever my role might be il accept it and work my butt off everyday to get where I need to be. In school I want to be a coach so i want to major in something with coaching or physical education I love kids and I love helping them out I currently am I volunteer coach for the BJSA I coach 7th and 8th Grade boys, I help them get raedy for high school basketball. My important accomplishments are my senior year i was honored All-state honorable mention, All-districts, and All-metro honors I played in three major all-star games and was ranked 1st in districts in high jump.
