Ever since I was a kid, basketball has been my unwavering passion. My earliest memories involve shooting on a mini hoop in my bedroom, igniting a lifelong dedication to the sport. Today, that devotion fuels my daily routine, encompassing rigorous drills, weight lifting, and ball-handling sessions aimed at elevating my game.

As I strive to reach the next level of play, I am determined to be a valuable asset on both the offensive and defensive sides of the courts. In my present role as a team leader on my high school squad, I set the practice tempo, foster camaraderie, and exemplify positive behavior. My commitment and relentless work ethic underscore my coachability—I readily embrace feedback and translate it into action, ultimately amplifying my performance. I credit my strong work ethic to being raised on my family's dairy farm and working there year-round. I know how to get up at 4:30 a.m. on a summer morning to hit the gym before putting in a 12-14 hour day on the farm. At the end of my work day, I'm back in the gym for another 2 hours of basketball before going to bed only to repeat this schedule all summer long.

As dedicated as I am to my athletics, I prioritize academics with equal diligence. My unyielding pursuit of excellence is evidenced by my unblemished 4.0 GPA, a testament to my meticulous approach to my studies. Even as a senior, I'm undertaking college-level courses, which demand an elevated level of dedication and perseverance, qualities that seamlessly translate to my athletic pursuits.
