Personal Statement

I can adapt to any roll needed to help the team win. Have leader skills on and off the court, currently a team captain for my varsity team and class president of the junior class at Bishop Manogue. I take on any challenge on and off the court. Have a 4.025 GPA and push myself in the classroom by taking honor and AP classes. I am coachable and can take the criticism and I can always adapt my game to the team I play on. I'm also a great Teamate, never have problems with my teammates and I tend to build up a quick chemistry with new teammates, whether on a team, or at a camp. I get to know the other kids very well and have been told that I'm a easy person to play with and to talk to. I also love building relationships with my teammates off the court. Some of my current teammates on my varsity team are some of my best friends. I also have a great attention to detail, not just during the game but during game week. I can lock in on watching film and pay attention to players habits and I can pick up little things that they do and I can adapt my game around how to guard it, how to attack it, or how to make a play around it. I have been around the game for a very long time, I have gone through many ups and downs on the game, and now, I am at a steady spot in my game. I can handle it mentally and stay level headed when faced with adversity and I stay level headed when we lose all momentum in a stretch during the game. By me keeping my level head I do not get fazed easily and can change the momentum of the game right back to our side. I really excel in my defense and my playmaking. Those are my main attributes. I'm not afraid to do some dirty work and get on the floor. I can get to the rim and the paint fairly quickly, being able to break my defender down. I also can catch and shoot 3's as a spot up shooter, being able to adapt to being on ball or off ball guard. I can create and find my own shots only if I can't create for my other teammates as well. There are many other traits and qualities that I have that I can't list all on here, but these are indeed some of my main strengths and skills.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
