Henry Cannon '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' senior guard from Bloomfield, New Jersey who is physically still growing. I play for Bloomfield High School, we are a Group IV school and play in the Liberty Division of the Super Essex Conference (SEC), a conference that includes some of the largest city schools in N.J. I have been on the varsity for 3 years of high school, (I was called up to varsity at the end of my freshman year), I have been on Honor Roll throughout high school and am currently taking honors classes. I am aware that I started this recruiting process late, but I am determined to do whatever it takes to play college basketball. Being born with a hearing impairment, I know a little something about dealing with and overcoming adversity. My hearing impairment, (I wear hearing aids) does not effect me on the court or the classroom, in fact most people don't even notice, it just makes me work a little harder. I know how to play the game and will bring hustle and leadership by example to the team, that's just me. I am looking for a small to mid-size college and am open to all Division levels including junior colleges. If possible, I would like to stay on the east coast so my parents can have a chance to see me play. I am open to any kind of college environment. A school that has a strong business program would interest me; another major that interests me is sports management. I would like to attend a school where I have the opportunity to grow as a player and as a person, I just need a chance to show what I can do.
