Christopher Mikos '18 Recruiting Profile

The experience of being a student-athlete has been a great one. I live, eat, and breathe basketball.  I spend my time, (after homework, of course), working out and practicing each day. I try to challenge myself daily to be the best I can be. I like to set goals for myself, and once they are attained, I set new ones, to keep improving and elevating my game, which you can see in my versatility.

Playing basketball as a varsity player for Saint John Vianney has been a great experience. I learned time management, team commitment and dedication, and what it feels like to have a second family. Basketball has not only helped me develop my skills, but also grow as a person, and student. It has opened up my world to more options and experiences. It has taught me to work hard on and off the court, and has been a positive experience.

I have the willingness, desire, and determination to succeed. I am hoping to continue this way, and to find a college that will help challenge me, and provide me with an opportunity to show my leadership, skills, and knowledge. I know I will be a positive influence and leader at your school.
