2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Overall, as a player and student, I have many aspirations such as to continue to play at the next level ans well as gain a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Because of my IQ (on and off the court), I feel I can be an extension of the coach on the floor. I've been the Captain of my school team, and a few other teams, for several years and I take great pride in my shot selection, limiting turnovers, aggression, and decision making as I can also shoot lights out from wherever needed.
I believe what separates me from other players is my academics, a 4.45 GPA, and I will look to continue my path of STEM and engineering into college. I feel my character also separates me from many others. I love the game and will do whatever is needed to win. I also take great pride in representing the school or club that I play for. As a three sport varsity athlete, I understand the grit needed to make it to the next level and I am ready in all aspects.
