As a kid I grew up following in my father’s footsteps, I found myself loving the game of bowling , but as I got older I found myself liking other sports like football and basketball. I began spending my summers in camps playing football and basketball, until my 8th grade year I made the travel team was so exciting that I was getting taller and better at sports but was still torn between the two. After making the team I broke my arm and missed the whole season due to injury but that didn’t stop me, but made me want to get better so I could get back in the game. I decided to be a two sport athlete and play both football and basketball, being blessed with the talent I decided to use them both as I would have double chance to get into college. Until one day basketball stood out from the rest, and I decided that I would eat and sleep basketball. My parents supported my decision to leave football alone follow my dream to concentrate on just playing basketball. My parents put their life on hold to make sure I was able to go to camps, train daily, and they supported my every wish even when they really couldn’t afford it, in order to make me a better student and athlete. I am currently somewhere between a 2.8 and 3.0 GPA, trying to push for that 3.0 at least, I’m dedicated to the game, as a Junior I was Co-Captain with the only Senior on the team this past season, I was the leader and will be the leader this upcoming season and will demand nothing less than 110% dedication from me and my team, I’m first to practice and the last to leave. I’m a hard worker and people tell me I have talent but I feel I still have work to do as I grow and mature into my own style. My goal is to attend
