My name is Jeven Beltran and I am a combo guard for Centennial High School Varsity Basketball Team. At the age of three years old I started playing basketball competitively, and I have not left the basketball court since. I love the game of basketball; I knew at a very young age basketball was a passion and a calling for me. My self-discipline and relentless training fuels my competitive edge to win on the court. I have strong ball handling, shooting skills, and a high basketball IQ. In addition to being a team leader. I always strive to do my best, to lead by example, stay positive, and encourage my fellow teammates on and off the court. Although I consider myself a seasoned athlete, I always strive to be better and be the hardest working player on the team. I am humble, very coachable, and always take feedback well from my coaches, which are some of my greatest strengths.
Off the court, I have always placed high standards on my academics and take school seriously, always maintaining a high GPA. I volunteer at church and local community services. I have aspired to continue playing basketball at the college level and obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine. My goal is to attend a college with the highest level of competition possible and to push myself to the next level in the classroom and basketball court.
