Basketball has always been something special in my life. Growing up it was my favorite sport and something I found constantly playing or watching. As I began growing older, I took my game to an even new level and really started training seriously. I was attending a big public school, with over 500 kids in the graduating class. This obviously led to a very competitive atmosphere for the basketball team which I loved, but the coaching really made it hard to fully experience the sport I loved. My junior year I transferred to a small private Catholic school and I have really enjoyed my experiences there both on and off the court. The coaches really believed in me and I had supportive teammates that really complimented my game. Basketball is something I hope and plan to continue at the collegiate level, and maybe someday even coach the next generation of players. I believe that hard work and dedication is the key to get where you want to be in life, whether it be in the classroom, on the basketball court, or at your place of employment.
