Jake Sayers '22 Recruiting Profile

Jake Sayers, Smithtown High School West, Junior Class of 2022

I am a 6’4, 145 lbs Center/Power Forward. My biggest strengths on the court are my Defense, Rebounding, and ability to make the Hustle Plays, as well as my work ethic. I am still working on offense, but I have been and continue to put work in to become a better offensive player. I believe in putting the team first and try to be the best teammate I can by doing whatever it takes to get a win for my team.  Academically I have good grades mainly A’s and B’s, a 3.91 weighted GPA, and am currently in two Honor Societies

I work very hard both academically and at being the best basketball player I can be every day. I am looking for a school that is a good fit for me academically and athletically. I would like to attend a school that would prioritize my education and help me to succeed after school.
