My name is Justin Guzman. I am 6'0" tall. I've played high school basketball since my freshman year, but I've played basketball since I was 6 years old. After high school, I've attended SUNY Rockland Community College where I played for two years. My GPA is currently a 3.3 as a major in Physical Education. During my first year of college, I knew that the transition from high school to college was going to be challenging; however, I worked hard in practice everyday and played in most of the games. Towards the mid season, my minutes increased to the point where I became the Captain for the upcoming season. During my second year of college basketball, I was the Captain and starter in all the games and still worked hard in practice every day. I also worked closely with my teammates to motivate them. I averaged 14 points per game and my coach considered me as the best defender on my team. This year my teammates and I broke the record for most wins at SUNY Rockland Community College. It was a big accomplishment for the team and it put us in the second seed of the Region XV Basketball Tournament playoffs. During the playoffs, I proved that I could bring my determination and heart to the game, I won All Tournament Team  division III playoffs as well as won an award for All-Conference second team for the Mid-Hudson Conference. My goal is to play for division I, II, or III college in the northeast majoring in Exercise Science.
