Shane Mulieri '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated multi-sport athlete who plays competitive basketball, lacrosse and football while at West Babylon High School.  In addition, I have played CYO basketball and currently play for the Long Island Heat AAU basketball team.  Playing for the Heat, I have the opportunity to play against excellent competition and have experienced victory in the form of winning four of the last six tournaments we participated in.  This year, our varsity basketball team was very young with multiple underclassmen on the team.  During our season, I was able to help the younger players understand the flow of the game, turning defense into offense and running up-tempo, always looking to push the ball and finding the open man.  This kind of leadership, court awareness, understanding of the game, dedication and team building skills is what I will bring to the collegiate level.

I am looking for a program where I will be an active contributor to the game; growing and learning along the way.  I am also looking for a school and program that is a good fit for me, both athletically and academically.  With my talent, work-ethic, character and leadership skills I think I will be able to make an immediate impact on your program.  Playing on young teams, I have become fully adapted to taking on a leadership role.  Thank you in advance for you consideration.  I look forward to speaking with you in the future.
