Micah Pierce '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college basketball and receive a four-year degree. I began playing ball at age seven and quickly developed a lasting love and passion for the game. I am a leader both on and off the court. I am a respectful towards teammates, coaches, and officials. As captain of our varsity team, I promote a strong team mentality. I work to maximize our efforts during practice and games, by both my actions and my words. As a talented ball handler, I work to distribute the ball and create opportunity for those on my team. Throughout high school, academics are a priority. I make good grades and have a 3.5 weighted GPA. I take pride in my school by promoting school spirit. I lead or take part in many school activities and organizations. My sophomore year of high school was disappointing due to the negative impact of COVID, its restrictions and limitations of school and basketball play. I have learned to never take basketball for granted.
