As a freshman being the youngest member on the varsity basketball team was a huge learning experience for me. It taught me that hard work pays off. Being a part of that team changed my life forever and I began to respect basketball in a totally different way. My teammates showed me how important it is to be a good teammate and to stay positive no matter what.
I am looking for a program where I can impact in a positive way from day one on and off the court. I am looking for a program that will fit my athletic abilities and my academic interests. I am very outgoing and love being around positive people. I am looking for a place that feels like home where I can leave my mark and make relationships for life. I have great character, work ethic, and leadership skills. I feel that I'm a strong person that has the talent to compete at a high level for a college team. Basketball has helped me through some tough times in my life, the game hasn't cheated me and I won't cheat the game.
