Personal Statement

Its doesn't matter to me where you put me on the court because I know where ever you put me I will give you 100 percent anywhere and everywhere I go. I just want to play ball for the right team and to take my game even farther to the next level. I want to catch every guy that's ahead of me and to show people that I can play hard and put in hard work and be dedicated to the game. My work ethic is very high and no one can change how hard I work. Playing basketball or any other sport will not effect my grades and how I perform in the classroom.  God, family, and grades always comes before sports because without those things how can you even be successful in life. Without grades you can't even play basketball or even get into a good college. Just one day I know I can take myself far in life and become a successful person in anything that I put my mind to.

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsA/B Honor Roll Student Beta Club Representative Leadership Award from RYLA Camp Character Recognition Award from Rightway Café
  • ActivitiesPlaying basketball will not effect my grades and how I perform in the classroom. Grades always comes before the sports because without grades you can't get an education and you won't be able play sports with bad grades, but I know regardless of sports or not I want to be successful in life. I work at Reid Street Community Center as a Camp Counselor and I am also a volunteer basketball coach at Peace Church with their Upward Basketball Program. I also ran basketball camps in the summer for younger kids that also would like to play basketball, so I can help improve their game as well. I am in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club and we discuss on things that talks about our schedules because of us being student athletes, and we also talk about our fellowship Jesus Christ. I volunteered at the Sharing Positive Outcomes Together (S.P.O.T.). At the S.P.O.T. I helped students with homework and came up with educational activities for them.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
