Lucas Henson '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Lucas Henson and I am currently in 8th grade. Basketball is my passion, and I am proud to represent Ada Junior High in Ohio. In addition to playing for my school team, I am actively involved in AAU basketball during the spring and summer seasons, as well as the fall league prior to the start of the school basketball season. The fall league is particularly enjoyable as it provides a relaxed yet competitive environment.

During the off-season, I adhere to a strict weekly routine to continuously improve my skills. Each day, I start by waking up early to engage in strength training and plyometric exercises. Subsequently, I spend significant time in our home gym, where I consistently aim to take 300 to 500 shots daily and work on various dribbling exercises. Additionally, I ensure that I am always the first to arrive and the last to leave during team practices, demonstrating my commitment and dedication to the sport.

I am highly self-motivated and constantly strive to enhance my capabilities. Furthermore, I believe in the power of teamwork and understand the significance of pushing both myself and my teammates to achieve our collective goals. This mindset extends beyond basketball, as I also actively participate in soccer and track to maintain my overall fitness levels during the off-season.
