2010-11 Season Hi...Personal Statement
Recently I ended my high school career at McNicholas High School in Cincinnati, earning the Greater Catholic League Central Player of the Year, as well as 1st Team All Cincinnati, 2nd Team All Southwest Ohio and Honorable Mention for the State of Ohio Honors, along with being the runner up for leading scorer of the GCL. The administration of my school also nominated me for the "US Army Reserves Student Athlete Award". Last year as a junior, I was picked for 1st team GCL Central, 2nd team all Southwest Ohio, and Honorable Mention for the state of Ohio and was awarded the Jeffrey A. Smith Memorial Scholarship which is given to a student athlete who shows leadership among his peers and Christian values. My AAU team, Shining Star (Walther) placed 12th in the nation at Orlando and were in the Elite 8 of the Eddie Ford Tournament in Louisville. My grade point average is a 3.0 and a 23 on the ACT. I am looking forward to furthering my education and basketball career at Maryville University In St Louis, where I signed a NLI back in November of 2011.
